Our School Garden

After 11 years of happy gardening in our raised beds, the wooden frames have begun to fall apart. Time for a makeover! Before this can happen, we needed to salvage as many of the bulbs and plants in the existing beds as possible. 2nd & 3rd Class spent a very busy day transplanting daffodils and other spring flowers, as well as potting strawberry and raspberry plants. We will have a beautiful display of daffodils under our beech hedge in 2023. When the new beds are in place, built by John our caretaker, we look forward to many more years of planting, weeding and harvesting.
