Local Author Visits 4th, 5th & 6th Classes

On the 23rd of November 2022, local author, Olive Mooney, visited the senior classroom of our school to tell us about her upcoming series of books, The Chronicles of Cadaver College. She told us about the first three books in the series and the school had the great pleasure of buying some of them. The multiple books that the school now has stocked in its library are: The Book of Ornis, The Curse of Halbizia and The Pirate Queen's Treasure.

Olive gave an insightful account of her life as an author, the hard work it takes to write a book and her love of literature. She read some extracts from her books and allowed lots of opportunities for us to ask her some questions.

Some of us have already started reading Olive's first book and are thoroughly enjoying it! 📚
