Leinster Minor Hurling Champs Visit Clonlisk!

The pupils of Clonlisk N.S. were delighted to welcome Leinster minor hurling champions & past pupils Liam O Riordan, Fionn Carney & Robert Carney to our school recently. The boys happily chatted to the children and answered their questions about what it takes to be county players. In return, the boys were treated to a rendition of the Offaly Rover. Everyone in Clonlisk N.S. is so proud of the boys and their wonderful achievements.

Also in attendance, was Eugie Hannon, who is a coach with the successful Offaly minor hurlers of 2022. Eugie coached the pupils of Clonlisk N.S. for a number of years as part of his role working with Offaly G.A.A.

We would like to wish James, Fionn, Robert, Liam & Eugie the very best of luck in the All Ireland Hurling Semi-Final against Clare which takes place this Friday, 17th of June in Semple Stadium, Thurles. Uíbh Fhailí Abú!
