Harvest Time

First, Second and Third Class were very busy in the garden harvesting our potatoes and onions. We had a fantastic crop of rooster potatoes and we had great fun digging them out. Each child had a stalk of their own to dig and to make it even more fun we created a tally chart to keep a record of how many spuds each stalk produced. Liam Douglas was a clear winner with 11 potatoes. They ranged in size from enormous to quite small. We were very happy with our crop. Fifth Class also had lots of fun in the garden while harvesting the carrots that they planted earlier this year. Check out the photographs below.
