Clonlisk Girls Make History!

Clonlisk N.S. Girls' Football Team made history in Rath on Monday last by defeating Cloghan N.S. to secure their first ever Cumann na mBunscol football title. Spectators were treated to a fast paced, skilful and determined display by both sides. Captain, Mia Monahan, accepted the cup on behalf of Clonlisk N.S. and afterwards the Clonlisk girls made their way to Tony's in Birr to replenish the energy stores. Moloney Sports Store kindly provided a 'champions t-shirt' for each member of the team. Congratulations girls!
