Grandparents' Day 2019

Many thanks to all who made our Grandparents' Day such a resounding success again this year! The day started with a beautiful prayer service led by Fr. Kieran, where children from each class read prayers and the whole school sang songs. As always, the Parents' Association had a wonderful selection of treats and refreshments prepared for our special guests. So following the prayer service, the grandparents were invited to have tea, coffee, treats and a chat with other grandparents in the staff room. Afterwards, the pupils accompanied their grandparents as they visited the classrooms to see the poetry, artwork, written work and interactive messages created especially for 'Grandparents' Day'. While visiting the classrooms, the grandparents shared stories and skills with the pupils. The whole school community enjoyed the day and everyone left school with big smiles on their faces. Thank you to everyone involved in making the day so enjoyable.
