Music To Our Ears!!!

On Friday the 15th of February we were given the opportunity to watch The Army Band perform. They travelled from Athlone to Shinrone to perform in front of Clonlisk and Shinrone N.S. The Army Band consisted of the wood wind, brass, percussion and string families. The conductor talked us through each section and helped us to learn about the different instruments. They played a range of medleys of popular songs including a Frozen medley a Disney medley and a pop medley. Before long, we found ourselves joining in and singing along. This made the morning even more enjoyable. I’m sure everyone in attendance that day will agree when I say it was an unforgettable and worthwhile experience.
