A Visit from a Potential King

Our cousins and past pupils, Michael and Adrian Cleary, visited Clonlisk N.S. during the week with the Division 2 'Pat Carroll' memorial trophy that the Shinrone Senior Hurlers won in recent months. It was a tremendous final and we had about eight or nine relations on the panel. Michael and Adrian answered lots of questions asked by the pupils of Clonlisk.

The 'King of Shinrone' will be announced tomorrow at the Shinrone GAA Dinner Dance. We had a non-uniform day last Tuesday as part of Michael Cleary's fundraising initiative. Our brother Jason, organised a really fun children's disco before Christmas. All of the other candidates have been working really hard too to raise funds for Shinrone GAA. We want to wish all the candidates the best of luck, especially Jason our brother.
